Health of Home and Environment
Health of Earth
While there are some aspects of our environment we have little immediate control over, such as the air we breathe outdoors, we have a great deal of control over our home environment. This is important because Americans spend 90% of their time inside (much of this at home), where air typically contains two to five times more pollutants than outdoors, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)!
The Earth is not ours. We humans are one of millions of living denizens that populate this rotating orb, yet the only species capable of destroying it. Conscious attention and actions that ensure that our "ways of being" preserve our planet and it resources are critical to its ability to sustain our life upon it. Human health is greatly influenced by the quality of the physical environments in which we surround ourselves – from our home, to our neighborhoods, to the planet as a whole.

In our homes we can have choice over the air we breathe, the water we drink and bathe in, the cleaning products we use, and the cosmetics and body care products we use. These choices not only effect the immediate environment of our homes, but the greater environment of the planet.
The following is what we can do to reduce exposure to unnecessary toxins in our homes and support the environment. For more information on:
