Crispy Nuts

Many different types of nuts will work for this recipe. To make it low phenol, use a nut other than almonds.

These nuts make a great and highly digestible snack, and are used in many/any recipes that require nuts.

Pumpkin seeds are great for men for healthy prostate and sperm health.

4 cups raw nuts (almonds, pecan halves, hulled pumpkin seeds, cashews, macadamia nuts)
2 teaspoons to 2 tablespoons of salt depending on nuts
Filtered water

Mix nuts with salt and filtered water and leave in a warm place for at least 7 hours or overnight.  Drain in a colander.  Spread on a stainless steel baking pan and place in warm oven (no more than 150 degrees) for 12 to 24 hours, turning occasionally, until completely dry and crisp.  Store in an airtight container.
